Today is a new beginning. It is unique and special, and the decisions we make today shape all of our tomorrows. May we all decide to better our world by planting one seed at a time.
Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 39 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am blessed. I am filled with an abundance of friends and family in Bolivia, Florida, and Kansas and all around the globe. I am thankful for their presence in my life. 2) I am motivated. I am motivated to make a change, because I see the way things are and know that they can be improved. If I make a difference in the life of one child, that is enough to make a big difference in the lives of many. 3) I am strengthened. I am strengthened by the breath and force of others who are doing so much good in the world. 5) I am transformed. I am a new person each and every day. I am striving to be a better person today than I was yesterday, and I am open to growing as much as I possibly can in this journey we call life. LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You restored my health. Ps. 30:2 V is for Visualizations I visualize millions and millions of connections. These connections reverberate from ocean to ocean, from mountain to mountain, and from river to river. Each of these connections is life giving and beautiful. Each of these connections reminds us of the possibilities that were only seeds of new beginnings yesterday, that today have sprouted into ideas and tomorrow have the potential to change lives. I visualize connections inside of us, from heart to soul to mind, and from one heart to another reaching outside of us as well. These connections must be treasured, because they are the ways in which we cherish one another, and they give us strength to take on the new day. May we always be open to one another, to learn and grow with wisdom and love as children do. "Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Matt. 23:12 E is for Exercise (The Gift of Yoga Video) R is Reading (Taking The Leap by Pema Chödrön) S is for Scribing (My affirmations and visualizations) How do I feel? I feel alive with the spirit of life and truth!

Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 38 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am alive and renewed through the One who calls us all to reconciliation and I am made new. 2) I am alight with the flame of the Holy Spirit growing deep inside of me. 3) I am on fire with the love of my brother and the desire to bring all to the peace of reconciliation. 4) I am rejuvenated by the One who calls all things into new birth through the power of His mercy and love. 5) I am in the palm of great love, where all beginnings are graceful and where a tiny raindrop can have the same impact as a mighty thunderbolt. 6) I anticipate greatness, because I know that together we can achieve wonders and peace that can move mountains. May the Lord of peace Himself give you His peace at all times and in every situation. 2 Thess. 3:16 V is for Visualizations I visualize a world where justice prevails all and where all know that they are loved. I see a world where everyone is made new and all anger and transgressions are forgiven. I see a space that unfolds like a winding river, moving and being and growing more and more each day. I see a path that is opened before us, and the beauty that lies ahead is clearly visible. I see trees and mountains touching, the sea and the river coming together, and all the birds of the sky and the creatures of the land dancing in perfect harmony. I see all uniting as one in love guided by the strength of those who have walked before them and by those whose time has not yet come. In all, I see peace, love, and understanding as the common ground that brings us together. Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 37 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am moved by the cry of others who are suffering in darkness, and I want to bring them to the light within and all around them. 2) I am humbled by the strength of those who are pouring out their lives to protect the most vulnerable of the world. 3) I am called to find a way to turn fight into forgiveness, mercy into solutions, and healing into love for all others. 4) I am passionate about ending domestic violence and promoting the power of peace instead of violence of any kind. I am hopeful that we as a human race can see that anger only leads the way to vengeance and revenge to a hardening of our own hearts, and that peace, love, and mercy can set us free. 5) I am empowered to lift up the voice of the voiceless and to liberate all who are feeling excluded from society. The LORD is my light and my salvation - so why should I be afraid? Ps. 27:1 V is for Visualizations I visualize a world where all hatred ceases. I visualize a world where mercy replaces anger, and a true softening occurs of the mind, body, and spirit. I visualize new pathways being built over the past that is tangled and dusty with thorns. I visualize listening that enlightens teh heart and fills the soul with a new song. I visualize love passing from soul to soul, heart to heart, and person to person until we are all filled with the same tune that carries with it renewal and rebirth. I visualize us all lifting up our hearts in softness of spirit to the heavens and the clouds raising up our melody that becomes cleansing water to renew our souls. The LORD is my strength and my song; He has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise Him. Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 36 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations Today I am going to do my affirmations in gratitude. I am thankful for the night sky to remind us that with each darkness comes a new day. I am thankful for my friends who have stood by my side and been like family. I am thankful for my family members who have been like good friends, always listening and supporting me. I am thankful for the roof over my head and the food in my belly, when so many have neither. I am thankful for the many lessons in humility I receive on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. I am thankful for perspective. I am thankful for all of the many blessings that I receive that number the stars in the sky, and I am thankful for a heavenly father who puts them there every night to show us the way. See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 V is for Visualizations I visualize a world without violence. I visualize a world where every child can sleep secure in their beds, knowing that they are protected and that they are loved. I visualize a world where we all work together to end violence, with the knowledge that understanding and forgiveness go hand in hand. I visualize a world where every human being has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances and the obstacles that they they must overcome. I visualize a world where peace is the language and love is the salve for every wound. I visualize a world where working together for the common good is what wakes us up in the morning and what allows us to sleep at night. I visualize a world where age, gender, background and owning who you are allows everyone to reach for the stars and become who they are meant to be in an environment of inclusion and trust. "Blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice." Luke 11:28 E is for Exercise (Self guided yoga) R is Reading (Taking The Leap by Pema Chödrön) S is for Scribing (My affirmations and visualizations) How do I feel? I feel supported, protected, and loved! Today I am writing my blog in both Spanish and English. This is the world I have been living in, so it is only fitting that I do so. Hoy día les estoy escribiendo a ustedes en inglés y en español. Es el mundo en donde me encuentro, entonces se sigue así. In doing so, I would like to connect two worlds that have been separated for some time, although they really shouldn't be. Mi motivación es conectarme a los dos mundos, que siguen separados desde hace tiempo, aunque no debe ser así.
When we live in two worlds, it automatically creates distance. Cuando vivimos en dos mundos, vivimos a la distancia. Even though distance can somehow offer a false sense of comfort, it is not really the case. Aunque la distancia se puede ofrecer un sentido de seguridad, no es la verdad. When we live apart, we create divides. We say "us" and "them," even though we don't necessarily mean to exclude. Cuando vivimos separados, creamos divisiones. Digamos "nosotros" y "ellos," aun cuando no queremos hacerlo. We think that we are explaining the way things are, when really we are preventing the possibilities of the ways that things can be. Pensamos que estamos explicando cómo es la situación, cuando realmente nos estamos perjudicando por evitar viviendo la belleza del mundo que puede ser. As soon as we learn that we need to lift up our neighbor, we will live blessed through the gifts that our neighbor can freely give to us. Cuando podamos vivir por ayudar uno al otro, podemos vivir las bendiciones que nos da por recibir la abundancia de nuestro prójimo. Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 35 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am called. The Lord has called me to heal those who have suffered domestic violence. 2) I am motivated to heal all of those who have suffered needlessly. 3) I am alive with the mission of opening doors of opportunity to those who need it most. 4) I am resuscitated by the electricity of new life. The current flows through my veins and opens my heart to give a voice to the voiceless. 5) I am eager for change and ready to begin. May the Lord bless our steps and guide our hearts. E is for Exercise (Self guided yoga) R is Reading (Taking The Leap by Pema Chödrön) S is for Scribing (My affirmations and visualizations) How do I feel? I feel motivated to press on! Good night and sweet dreams! I hope that as I post my Miracle Morning tonight, you are filled with the comfort of knowing that you are blanketed in love.

I am enough! "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 V is for Visualizations I visualize a sunset that is full of every color of the rainbow. It has a multitude of designs, and every new one is layered upon another as in the multilayered dimensions of a patchwork quilt. Each swirl and swish is a new dimension, and every color touches a new emotion as it tells a different story. When one facet is discovered, another begins to emerge and opens our minds to the endless possibilities that vastly cause our hearts to expand as well. We know its language without being taught, and to gain acceptance to its club, we only have to open our eyes to the truth. With our new memberships, we can raise a paintbrush and add our own colors to the manuscript of life. As we all join, we feel secure and comfortable in the arms of the one who has called us to add our light to the darkness. I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! Hab. 3:18 E is for Exercise (The Joy of Yoga Video) R is Reading (Uplifting articles on Flipboard) S is for Scribing (My affirmations and visualizations) How do I feel? My heart is filled with light. Do you ever have one of those days that just feels off? Although you don't see a tangible reason for it, you have the nagging sensation that you "should" be doing something, or that there is something you are missing? Yesterday was one of those days for me. And then I woke up this morning and realized that I hadn't posted my Miracle Morning...so perhaps there was a tangible reason, and it was lying just below the surface?
At any rate, I missed you, and I am sorry for that. I hope that you had a wonderful day, and that today is a beautiful example of the blessings of the Lord! Miracle Morning on Weebly - Day 33 Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am beautiful. He has made all things beautiful in His sight. 2) I am loving. As I am loved, I am filled with an overflowing love for my brothers and sisters. 3) I am caring and compassionate. When I share a tiny amount of the mercy and love I receive, it goes on forever. 4) I am open. As I grow in my capacity to hear others, I also grow in wisdom and knowledge. 5) I am in motion. Let me strive to do one more thing to lift up the victims and survivors of domestic violence, so I am living out my calling. 6) I am empowered. As I am lifted up, let me also lift up my brothers and sisters, so that we all may be filled with the light of day. This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Ps. 118:24 V is for Visualizations I visualize a mighty brook that grows into a powerful river. As the brook flows, it picks up momentum and carries with it more and more. The leaves, flower petals, and rabbits dance upon its banks as the fish jump and swim in its moving water. The more powerful it becomes, the more lively are the creatures on earth and below its surface. As it moves and grows, it stretches out its healing streams, until it touches thousands with its rejuvenating and pure water. When it is growing, it doesn't change its make-up; instead, it becomes more and more who it is and who it was meant to be, and with it life springs new. Those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am open hearted. My heart is open to the needs around me, and I am filled with compassion and love for others. 2) I am yearning for the day when my domestic violence shelter is open and I can offer healing to those who have suffered so much pain. 3) I am filled with hope that by experiencing an avenue of recuperation and a way out, that survivors will begin to rebuild their lives with the same hope that I carry for them. 4) I am motivated to engage all in a solution that leads to a world without violence, where all live in peace and security, knowing that every open door is a pathway to something better and an opportunity to improve their lives. Kind words are like honey - sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Prov. 16:24 V is for Visualizations I visualize a strong and heavy boulder. At first, we are behind the boulder, pushing it up a mighty mountain. However, as we begin to grow in numbers, our power increases and we are able to gain more ground and lessen the time of pain. Next, we begin to have the time to take in the beauty around us, as we all work together, we can see the flowers blooming and the trees growing and shedding their leaves. Then, at times we even have the luxury of resting as we take turns pushing the boulder with more and more support. Finally, we get to the top of the mountain, and we let go. We push it over the top, and along with it goes our pain, suffering, and regret. We are finally free! The joy of the LORD is your strength! Life S.A.V.E.R.S Program S is for Silence (Time spent in silent reflection) A is for Affirmations 1) I am loved by a God whose love surpasses all understanding. 2) I am blessed by the One whose name means blessed. 3) I am held by the God who holds all of our heartaches, stresses, and temptations, and loves us still. 4) I am forgiven by the God of all mercy. 5) I am called by the God who numbers all of the hairs on my head. 6) I am rejuvenated by a God who sees my need before I know it exists. 7) I am joyful because the Lord is in my life and He is watching over me. 8) I am chosen by the God who calls the weak and gives them wings to fly like eagles. 9) I am called to be compassionate and to remember that we are here to love another. 10) I am chosen to live a life of joy and great peace, as each of us is called to do so, if we listen to the still, small voice in our lives. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Ps. 91:1 V is for Visualizations I visualize a white cloud filled path. The path is so fluffy and soft that you know to walk there would be like walking on air. I visualize a thousand white angels coming down to lift us up and carry us home on that path. I visualize wisdom, mercy, patience, compassion, and understanding hanging like treasure along the path. I visualize love allowing the exact dosage of our needs to be filled in exactly the manner that we need in that moment. I visualize caring hands wrapping us in a blanket of love, guiding us to the path that is calling us home, and the joy that awaits us when we see our savior face to face. "I will never fail you. Matt. 11:28 V is for Visualizations I visualize a healthy human being. This person has enough self discipline to carry herself through the world physically, and enough grace to ask for the help she needs spiritually. This person is smart enough to know how to feed herself only what will give her nourishment, in thoughts, food, and the decisions that carry her through her life. She is joyful even in times of sadness, and she knows what it means to be sustainable because she considers herself to be her first example. She knows how to be happy with what she has, and to be generous in sharing with others. She knows how to trust in the bounty of the Lord and the friendship of those He was blessed her life to be a part of. When she prays, she is honest, compassionate, and grateful for everything. This person is first and foremost a child of God, and she knows all good will come to pass from this blessing that He has bestowed upon her.
