I am thankful for listening to leaders who can speak from the heart and who give importance to lifting up those who have been without a voice for too long. I am thankful for the rain when it comes as it is a symbol of rebirth. I am thankful for the possibility of change, being able to work on what needs fixing, and the blessing of a courageous spirit. I am thankful for the breath that comes from breathing in nature, the joy that is found within the laugh of a child, and the glint in the eye of someone with wisdom beyond her many years. I am thankful for the opportunity that comes with passing time with a variety of individuals, young, old, and from every hue and walk of life, who add color and perspective to my life. I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! Hab. 3:18 V is for Visualizations I visualize a life where love is flowing from a stream of abundance, like water from a well. I visualize a life of good intentions that turn themselves into good decisions that translate into a life of service in others, that brings with it the enriching gift of listening to stories that would otherwise go untold and lessons that could potentially go unlearned. I visualize a life of giving everything we have, so that we may reflect on the past with eyes of wonder at the opportunities we have had. I visualize a life of taking chances, learning life lessons as we go forward, and of always choosing what is right even when it may be a little uncomfortable. Romans 8:39 E is for Exercise (The Gift of Yoga by Gena Kenny) R is Reading (inspirational Flipboard articles) S is for Scribing (My affirmations and visualizations) How do I feel? I am thankful for friendships, new and old! I have a confession to make, in case you have not already noticed it - I missed a Miracle Morning day. I was wondering why it has been such a challenge to do them lately, and then I realized why - I had committed to doing 30 days of Miracle Mornings, and then I recommitted to doing another 30 days of them. Around day 60, my enthusiasm started to wane. I noticed when I make a commitment, it is a lot easier to follow through with it, regardless of the commitment (although it helps when it is something about which I am passionate, too!). So I am committing publicly here to another 30 days of Miracle Mornings, and welcome the support if anyone would like to join me!
